True North Farmstead is owned and operated by Brian and Megan Bogle. We believe in quality food that is locally raised for regional markets. We are situated on 3 acres in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, in the heart of Chester County. Our name, True North, comes from the concept that although a compass will point you northward, in order to find true north you have to find out where you are in the world, make an adjustment, and adjust your course. We achieve that on our farm by making adjustments over time and adapting our farm practices as needed always taking into account our place in the world. In addition to our flock of East Friesian sheep, we’re raising chickens along with three little humans and two active dogs.
